Description: Instruction in evaluation and selection of horses
based on breed/performance criteria. Topics include basic anatomy and its
relation to function, breed type and characteristics, and standard performance
classes.
Learning
Outcomes: Relate conformation to equine functions; prioritize
and utilize criteria as related to evaluation and selection; and employ
appropriate terminology used in discussing evaluation and selection processes.
