Course
Description: An overview of insects and related organisms with an
emphasis on destructive, predaceous, parasitic, and beneficial species. Topics
include insect taxonomy, anatomy, morphology, and physiology and the
application of proper biological and chemical control measures.
Learning
Outcomes: Recognize insect morphological and anatomical
features; identify and classify insects; and describe methods for controlling
insect pests.
