The ATC Texas Program will begin processing applications for the 2018–19 school year in February 2018.

Texas Association of College Technical Educators (TACTE) Conference TACTE 2017
April 5–7, 2017, in Austin, Texas
TACTE is a 3-day conference where professionals at all levels of career and technical education, including faculty, program directors, and administrators, network and share new ideas to promoting sound and effective workforce education.

Career and Technical Association of Texas (CTAT) Texas Career Education Conference (TCEC)
July 16–19, 2017, in San Antonio, Texas
TCEC is a 4-day conference that showcases best practices and strategies for comprehensive CTE program management, college and career guidance, and classroom management for CTE administrators and teachers, career counselors, and Education Service Center personnel.

Vocational Agriculture Teachers Association of Texas (VATAT) Professional Development Conference for Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources Cluster
July 24–28, 2017, in Arlington, Texas
VATAT is a 5-day conference where Texas agriculture science teachers attend educational workshops and training classes to enhance their current teaching methods and to keep up with the latest curriculum developments in agricultural education.

Learn about the statewide Advanced Technical Credit (ATC) program, which offers articulated college credit for courses offered at the high school level. The workshop will provide information about the courses available to students in the agriculture cluster, the requirements for teaching an ATC-approved course, and where to go to learn more.
