Do I Meet the Requirements to Teach an ATC Course?

Do I meet the requirements to teach a course for Advanced Technical Credit (statewide articulation)?

You answered yes to the last two questions.

You appear to meet the requirements!* If you have:

a associate’s degree or higher with a major in any field AND
at least 3 years non-teaching work experience directly related to the subject of the course

then you should qualify to teach that course for Advanced Technical Credit!

Exceptions: To teach some courses in the ATC Program you must meet additional requirements. These include courses in subjects such as Auto Tech, Health Science Technology, Banking/Accounting, and Cisco. Go here to view a list of these courses and their additional requirements.

Don’t forget, you also have to go through ATC training before you can be approved!
